How does SlasProp differ from other real estate platforms?

SlasProp integrates blockchain-powered escrow (SlasPay), AI-driven market intelligence (SlasIntel), and GIS mapping into a single platform. This ensures secure transactions, accurate valuations, and verified property data - all in one place.

Is SlasProp available in my area?

SlasProp currently operates across all 36 Nigerian states and is expanding to Canada. We continuously add new regions based on demand and regulatory compliance.

Who can use SlasProp?

SlasProp serves multiple stakeholders including property buyers, sellers, tenants, landlords, real estate agents, property developers, lawyers, surveyors, valuers, banks, insurance companies, REITs, and government land registries.

Properties

How do I list a property on SlasProp?

To list a property: 1) Create an account and complete KYC verification, 2) Navigate to Dashboard then Properties then Add New, 3) Fill in property details including location, price, and features, 4) Upload property documents and images, 5) Submit for verification. Our team reviews listings within 24-48 hours.

How are properties verified?

We verify properties through a multi-step process: document authentication, ownership verification with land registries, physical inspection (for premium listings), and GIS boundary confirmation. Verified properties display a verification badge.

Can I search for properties by map location?

Yes! Our GIS-integrated map allows you to search properties by exact location, view boundaries, check proximity to amenities, and analyze neighborhood data. Use the map view on the Properties page to explore.

How do property valuations work?

Our SlasIntel AI analyzes market data, comparable sales, location factors, and property features to provide accurate valuations. You can get an instant estimate or request a certified valuation from our network of professional valuers.

What types of properties can I find on SlasProp?

SlasProp features residential properties (apartments, houses, duplexes), commercial properties (offices, shops, warehouses), land (residential, commercial, agricultural), and investment properties (REITs, fractional ownership opportunities).

Payments & Escrow

What is SlasPay?

SlasPay is our integrated payment solution powered by Stellar blockchain. It enables secure escrow services, instant payments, cross-border transactions, and tokenized property investments with minimal fees (less than $0.01 per transaction).

How does escrow protection work?

When you initiate a transaction, funds are held in a secure escrow account powered by smart contracts. The funds are only released when all conditions are met (document verification, property inspection, legal clearance). This protects both buyers and sellers.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept bank transfers, debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), mobile money, and cryptocurrency via Stellar. International payments are supported with competitive exchange rates.

Are there any transaction fees?

SlasPay charges minimal fees: Local transfers (0.5-1%), International transfers (1-2%), Escrow services (1.5% of transaction value). These are significantly lower than traditional real estate transaction costs.

Can I make international payments?

Yes! SlasPay supports cross-border payments in multiple currencies including NGN, USD, CAD, GBP, and EUR. Our Stellar integration ensures fast settlement times and competitive exchange rates.

What happens if there is a payment dispute?

Our dispute resolution team reviews the case with evidence from both parties. If unresolved, it goes to neutral arbitration. Funds remain secured in escrow throughout the process until a resolution is reached.

Security & KYC

How secure is my data on SlasProp?

We implement bank-grade security: AES-256 encryption for data at rest, TLS 1.3 for data in transit, multi-factor authentication, and regular security audits. Our blockchain integration provides immutable transaction records.

What is KYC and why is it required?

KYC (Know Your Customer) verification confirms your identity to prevent fraud and ensure regulatory compliance. You need to provide a valid ID, proof of address, and complete biometric verification. This protects all users on the platform.

How long does KYC verification take?

Standard KYC verification is completed within 24-48 hours. Express verification (with additional documentation) can be completed within 4-6 hours during business hours.

What documents are accepted for KYC?

We accept government-issued IDs (National ID, International Passport, Drivers License), proof of address (utility bills, bank statements dated within 3 months), and for business accounts, CAC registration documents.

Is my financial information safe?

Absolutely. We never store your full card details. All payment processing is handled through PCI-DSS compliant partners. Blockchain transactions are secured by cryptographic protocols.

Documents

What documents are required to sell a property?

Required documents include: Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), Survey Plan, Deed of Assignment, Governors Consent (if applicable), Building Plan Approval, Tax Clearance Certificate, and valid identification.

How are documents stored and protected?

Documents are encrypted and stored using blockchain technology, ensuring they cannot be tampered with. Only authorized parties can access documents, and all access is logged for audit purposes.

Can I get help with document verification?

Yes! Our network of verified property lawyers can assist with document verification, title searches, and legal clearance. Access legal services through the platform for competitive rates.

How do I verify if a property title is genuine?

Use our Registry Services to conduct a title search. We cross-reference documents with government land registries and provide a verification report detailing ownership history and any encumbrances.

Accounts

How do I create an account?

Click Sign Up and provide your email, phone number, and create a password. Verify your email, then complete your profile and KYC verification to access all features.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Click Forgot Password on the login page, enter your email, and we will send a reset link. For security, the link expires in 1 hour. If you do not receive it, check spam or contact support.

Can I have multiple account types?

Yes, you can register as multiple user types (e.g., both a property owner and an agent). Each role has specific features and verification requirements. Manage your roles in Account Settings.

How do I upgrade to a professional account?

Professional accounts (for agents, developers, lawyers, etc.) require additional verification including professional licenses and business registration. Apply through Settings then Account Type then Upgrade.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can request account deletion through Settings then Privacy then Delete Account. Note that active transactions must be completed first, and some data may be retained for legal compliance.
